While Guardians are formidable opponents, they have multiple weaknesses. Despite not being possessed by any evil force, they will still attack Link, as they were tasked by the Monks to fight him as part of the trials that he must undergo. Guardians that are not possessed by Calamity Ganon's Malice, such as those that reside within Ancient Shrines, in the Trial of the Sword, at Upland Zorana, and in the Final Trial, glow orange and blue instead of the pink that corrupted Guardians display. Most Guardians are under the control of Calamity Ganon during the events of Breath of the Wild and are scattered across Hyrule, attacking those who approach. Guardians are ancient machines created by the Sheikah, originally created to aid in the battle against Calamity Ganon. You can use the Keo Ruug shrine to get to him for quick expansions.Characteristics Breath of the Wild Hestu finally makes it home and you’ll find him in Korok Forrest for the rest of the game. After six more upgrades, Hestu will move to his final location. This stable is straight west of Kakariko Village next to Wahgo Katta shrine. He’ll stay here until you upgrade your inventory twice.įrom there, he’ll move to the Riverside Stable. The first time you meet him, he’ll be along the road to the south of Kakariko Village. There are three locations where you’ll meet Hestu over the course of the game. The only catch is that Hestu doesn’t stay put. The cost of each slot increases as you continue to expand your inventories (see the table above for the number each slot costs). You exchange a number korok seeds for a new slot.
